Have a mate wanting to fit these to his 2016 CVO Streety. He has done some homework and apparently they reduce ground clearance a bit. Anyone had any issues with this?

depends on how aggressive he rides. I have them on my 13 Street Glide and have ground a bit of metal off them.

Both mine and Chinas where scraped under the Xover on the lower right side, common issue with these pipes, cant
see the scrape marks unless looking under the bike. Ultra for me and Road Glide for China, Streety has 1inch less clearance.

I haven't scraped my Power Duals yet, and have taken the rubber right to the edge of the tires. Glad the RoadKings have the taller rear suspenders

As Mickle said. Pics are from after the Snowy Run. Not a lot, but first to scrape before the board brackets. 2017 SG.

Yeah mine is in the same place. I have 13" shocks on my Street Glide as well.

Thanks for the info fellas. Have passed it on and I think he may look at other options.

I would still buy them again, I've tried the dresser duals but they made the bike sound tinnie. Definitely a nice with the x pipe setup. My scrapes only happen on shit corners. Hitting a dip while cranked over will maks them scrape everytime.

My Fattie I had extended brackets, and also, sourced s/steel rod, and bent to curve of footboards, placed under as a skid bars. as was getting sick of replacing boards, even with Fornales..
