Hey guys I am thinking of purchasing the detachable tourpak kit for my ultra, and watched a video where they put strip like indicators on the panniers which is just another piece of wiring I would have to disconnect everytime I take them off.  Do you have to use these indicators? Any input from those that have the detachable kit would be appreciated.

I have one for my roadie mate, great bit of kit. As mickle has already confirmed the indicators are not needed here.  

Have one on my Streetglide quick connect for the speakers and 12volt power outlet, 5 minutes to take off and on
