  Red bikes go faster?

  Couple of little issues - need to relocate the coil, the throttle cables just kiss the tank on full right hand lock and the petcock is directly over the rear spark plug. May have to get right angle plug leads or ends. 

  Oh, and after the slim Sporty tank it makes the old girl look a little pregnant, but it does give me an extra six litres which should be enough.

  Will get a right angled petcock that should solve the plug lead issue, the throttle cables won’t be an issue unless you are pedantic and you could do what I did and do away with the coil and leads altogether buy getting these if they make them for your bike the coils go on the plugs, does away with leads too.

  Hey Stropp, great looking coils and would solve the problem, but (don't you hate it when there is a but) they only have them for 07 and up EFI. Mine is a carbed 04.

  I have a pingel right angle petcock. The issue there is the adaptor between the tank thread (made for the Delphi EFI) and the petcock brings it right down to the HT lead. A right angle plug cap will fix it. 

  And you're right, the throttle cables are the least of my worries. That issue I will ignore.

  All good mate, bummer about the coils, but yep right angle plug leads will suffice and be cheaper too ??

  hi mate , thats good, we are all meeting in Katherine to ride to Darwin, im booked for bike service first thing Monday then hope to make daly waters pub monday night and Alice the following day but no real plans on way back.

  Playing golf in port augusta 

  Just bumped into a couple of lads at a servo in Port Augusta They had rode from Vic to join  the ride 

  Had a yak 

  A very nice 110 hog 

  And a blacked out duke 

  Wished I could have rode of with them

  Some lonely Roadhouses there mate with klms of nothing in between , but still ultimately Beautiful  have traveled it many times in car & on bike great pics keep em coming
