Great looking bike, some minor custom work sure changes a bikes looks, hard to believe it's only a 250, I think it looked better with the chrome exhausts,

Why can't your dad ride anymore RT? That only gives me another 17 years worth.

Lets just say he wasn't only a hazard to himself....... I think he had a few scares.

He never actually said why and I didn't ask. It was a good decision.

I wondered if there was compulsory licence or medical testing in SA? That might have rattled him.

Mate he's 75 and getting a bit dottery.
In his early 60s he bolted an engine on a pushbike and loved it so up graded to a postie but killed that, it didn't like highway kilometers for hours on end, then he got the XVS.  Now he's got a battery pushbike.

Sorry to hear your dad compromised  , but ,, he’s done the smart thing  . How old ?

I’m in the same boat , in the way of scares  , broken collar bone etc ,,,, that’s another story except I don’t want to give up what I love and besides , I’m gonna keep doing what I can until I’ve depleted everything . Fuck dying before I get to do it all .
