PB - this is the NRL, rules have been particularly fluid and open to interpretation this season!

I think the game needs to loose the scrum!!
it's silly setting up a scrum that we all know out come. they all bend over and hugg and hand the ball to there team.
I think it holds the game up, might as well just hand the ball to the team that gets the scrum. speed things up.

I think we need the scrum,
Why they have'm is to lockup the forwards (in the scrum)
so that the attack (backline) can come into play, with the opposing defence is out of the game.
On the surface it seems fkn stupid I agree but when ya think about it, yeah ok.
That's the way I look at it anyway.

Well why not make it an actual contest then?, like it used to be and still is in rugby union, where the ball is fed between the opposing front rows and the hookers hook the ball.
As it is it does look pretty gay, and I agree with krash.

Yeah spot on, opens the field up for one play at least, allows backline set plays and also causes the odd blue... all good stuff

LOL Did a more definitive survey in australia.........90% have no idea what AFL is and the remainder cant believe that real men actually have a true contact sport! They voted NRL as the true male sport

think you will find that in most states except QLD , but in QLD you can use that chart for daylight saving .

Right there Hilly and I question if it was a Rooster or Shark if they’d go to the judiciary.
