Are there any Forum members in Cairns able to flick the power switch back on?
Some clown turned it off, apparently, so the Cowboys have no light to thrash the Tigers at Barlow park (below).
Cairns, the Adelaide of Nth Qld.

    Fark!

The Cowboys are sponsored by Toyota; line up 100 Prado’s with spotties. Not rocket science, ffs.

....ummm yeah, the Cowboys have some work to do. Their usual weather advantage made no difference, Tigers were clearer the better team.

Settle lads trial games only. The usual suspects will be there at the end...

Will Morgan still be out for the Storm match? Bugger.
The Cows are getting better and nearly rolled the Broncos. I reckon they can get on top of Melb but need to cut out the errors.

The Tigers have been impressive. Hope they can keep it up. Losing all those big names end of 2017 has been a problem so far!

PB - you are not really sticking your neck out saying ‘the usual suspects will be there come the finals’.

Note JFE you have not mentioned your predictions.........
I have only watched Fri night footy as i have been over in Vietnam and NRL no longer allow overseas feed even though i am with Foxtel. See Storm won convincingly so my early prediction stands.....your turn...

Well that was a tragic footy display by the Cowboys. More effort required

They have had 2 tough trips away in 2 weeks ( Melbourne, Brisbane) they looked tired, but yep they along way off the mark at this stage.

Another thing, I hope teams adjust quickly to staying back the 10 on there own line.
I hate the fact that games are being decided on penalty kicks. At one stage last night it was 2 try’s apiece and the score was 20-8

Most of the Cowboys team have an attitude problem imo.
Don’t want the win enough, waiting for JT to work his magic. Last year without JT, more of the team took to putting their hands up to win the game.

Hampton was best Cowboy on field last night, probably driven by the fact he is only filling in for an injured player. Panthers clearly out-enthused the Cows and deserve the win.

I also think the Cows need to re-think how they are using their forwards. Scott, McLean and big JT are great on paper but it’s not working, for mine. Maybe bring Jase Talmaloulo on after 20 mins and leave him there for rest of the game.

On the refs, I’m all for enforcing the 10 but don’t stop there — also target laying over the tackles player and giving away penalties to stuff up the oppositions attack. Been a blight on the game for years. The Storm pioneered this crap and plenty of teams now do it because they can. The Cows suffer more for it as they are a momentum and quick play the ball team, when on their game.

Well I was at the rabbits/dogs game and it had the potential to be another block buster Good Friday match but the refs absolutely destroyed it with a penalty a thon.
Yeah fair enough they are making a stand but honestly was over the top tonight..
    fucked a good game

...best to fill out ya footy tips 1/2 cut I reckon. Not a lot of rhyme or reason yet!
At least Qld humiliating the Blues, again, is a sure thing. Even Fifita can see that coming and is staying Tongan.

I’m not wasting grog on footy tipping. The nearest 4 year old or dementia patient has more of a clue about it than me...

Bloody hell. The Cowboys. They have gotten worse, with a full roster.
    WTH.

Someone up north needs to pull their finger out, make some calls and shake em up.

Can you call Lifeline to complain about the footy? Probably run by NSW supporters who will laugh at me.
