The Yellow Fast Back, Combat and other's which prompted me to work at a dealer. They were/ are a beautiful looking M/C.

Wow taz great collection I am envious, have had a T140 and a T160 in my time, not much that could keep up with a well ridden Trident in the hills. Also had an 850 commando and I remember off the line that thing was quick, blasted away from a few superbikes at the lights and gave them a scare lol.

That's one hell of a beautiful collection you have taztiger, I am so jealous,  your correct in saying about the sound those triples make at full song, nothing beats that wail only a triple can produce, I had a T150 for a while when I was young, today I have a couple of the Hinkley triples, but they don't have the raw sound of the early triples,

And that BSA is gorgeous, I also had a '69 BSA Firebird Scrambler, and boy did this Grade 2 mechanic  apprentice ruin that bike, thought I knew everything, the bike broke down faster than I could fix it, the more I fixed it the more it broke down, I was causing most of the problems,  I was trapped in a circle I could not get out of, I should have been Jailed for Classic Cycle Abuse, I am thoroughly ashamed of my treatment of that bike now, but you live and learn,

    Great collection,

Well, the Triumph has been sold (to a forum member) and I have gone back to a twin cylinder Adventure Bike.

This will be my 2 up long distance dirt tourer from now on, 2016 brand new (last one left in Aus) Anniversary model Super Tenere Electronic Suspension mode.

Got it for $5,500 less than retail price as well, bargain.

These are only 1l less and are more economical, so you get the same result, plus this has cruise standard and electronic suspension. Not as good as the Trumy's WP set up, but handy. Plus it has the shaft drive. And $7K cheaper
