Road Train itch finally satisfied

    Hi All,
I have always loved Night Trains, but always had sport bikes, living in Albury have been blessed with what I think are the best bike roads in the country.
Anyway,  father time stands still for no man and the GSX-R is no longer something I can punt for any time without being crippled.
So a pristine, clean,  low Km 2007 Train came along and I'm done, its in the shed.
So a question, My local Harley Dealer who I have crawling over this bike which has been in storage for 5 years,  changing every fluid and tyres ect tells me that the dynojet Power commander which is fitted along with the V &H Short shots and High flow is not good for the train and it will run to rich.
Now we fitted Power commanders to all our Suzuki's and even Ducatis back in the day to stop them leaning out and optimise the MAP.
My dealer says I should fit a SE Tuner as they are designed for Harley ect and that Harley know best.
Am I being lead down the sales gouging path or is their truth in this ?

Cheers to all and I think this is an excellent forum which I have been watching the last few weeks.

Any thoughts welcomed as information is king.

    Cheers

    CL

Sorry about the Road train, not night train in the heading.
    Thanks for the comments
    And welcome
Should have known that it’s a sales pitch by my age.

    Thanks Hilly,
    thats excellent constructive advice.
I don't have the USB cables with the PCIII, they didn't come with the bike, I don't even have the codes yet but that is in hand.
From what I can gather I would need to go to Melbourne to find Dynotune Dyno which is not out of the question.
It is my thought that the other option is is to buy Dynotunes Auto tuner which connects to the PCIII and tunes on the go.  Further it would appeal as it would give me engine temps, RPM and other data beyond the fuel level and Speed currently on offer live on the Dyno display.
    Any Pro's and Con's appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hilly,
    Thanks once again.

Probably ahead of myself at this stage.  I need to get the bike on the road and put a few kms down.  It may well be perfectly set up as is.

Will post my progress i guess.

    Cheers
