blame the camera man, well yes

But, what idiot in his right mind would say, "nothing can go wrong from here"

that statement would have to be the kiss of death every time

Agree with you on that one mate

Do you remember an ABC series called the slap based on the circumstances (like that word?) and aftermath of a slap given to a misbehaving child.
    Here is part 2

Friends check this out. Found the link on liveleak. It's an oldie but very prophetic (like that word?) about why men are not marrying or engaging with women. From a womans POV. Worth 24 mins of your time

Actually quite interesting... A good perspective on things that I had never pondered.

Check out this short Sci Fi video. Very suspenseful. Could be the first in a series, ... I hope.

    1983 Sidecar Grand Prix Bathurst.
Saw this clip elsewhere, thought it might be worth posting here.
Don't see sidecars like that very often these days. 1983 doesn't seem that long ago either.

I have a DJI Spark and that has the follow me function. They are very clever and have collision avoidance and return to home functions. I have had mine  3klm away from me and return by its self

Well, with a remote area drinking (sometimes called fishing) trip coming up fast, I bit the bullet and got a DJI Mavic Pro. Gonna give it a test flight tomorrow :-)
I’m really looking forward to seeing what I can manage to get it to do in a few weeks.

Good stuff. Best tip.....make sure your return to home is your CURRENT LOCATION. Once you can do that you will never loose your drone unless YOU make an error flying it

It’s a pretty smart little fucker, aye!! I don’t know if it’s just because I was in beginner mode but it set the home position automatically. I can DEFINITELY see how people get into trouble. I was tooling around only 30 meters up for a while. Then I switched off beginner mode and sent it up to 300m. I was admiring the view and sending it sideways but I wasn’t paying attention to how far away it was getting in the strong wind up there (I got an alert about the wind a few times). All of a sudden I realised it was WAAAAAYYY behind me and I wasn’t sure where I was anymore Bahahahaha. I took a deep breath and sussed it out though. But yeah, it had me going for a minute. Other than that, it’s pretty straight forward ;-)
