I don't think this quite fits in the workshop section?  I want to fit one of the new LED headlights to my old softail. The seller has two options  - one comes in a clear silver look - at a distance, not unlike the standard light but with about 10 small LED bulbs looking out at you.
The other (exactly the same light) comes with a dark smoke face - it's dark when turned off but looks to shine and be exactly the same overall look when turned on.

My question for the collective trust is would there any reason the blue boys would have an interest in the dark one????

I have a dark one in my bike and the wife says it is much brighter than the old one, the police will generally only see it when the bike is running and not know it is a dark lense

I doubt you will every be questioned about it
