Replacement Battery Breakout

    Hi  - I need a replacement battery for Breakout 
    I only got 18 months out of Battery- bike is 18 months old - HD dealer says that is normal now ( 2 years max is all they last )
    Battery has been on Trickle Charger since new 
    There has to be a better battery out there
    Is anyone using a Lithium Battery ?

    Normally the stock HD batteries are really good. I got over 9 years out of mine. Perhaps the warm climate in Townsville is not ideal for a long battery life?.

    The original battery in my 2013 Street Bob lasted about 2 years , the second replacement HD battery is still going ok but i do keep it on a trickle/float charger most of the time.
    I think i did kill the original battery when i left the aftermarket grip heaters on for 1/2 a day (wired them up correctly after that).

    Had EXACTLY the same happen to my Breakout after 14 months. Battery was absolute crap. Got another HD battery.....might regret it now!

    Thanks everyone for your input - I ended up going with another Harley battery (Yuasa)
