Sandcasts are rare but not that rare. It'd be a reasonable buy at about half the price. They made 7414 of them and generally the lower the number the more valuable. The number stamped on the frame of that one indicates it's one of the later ones. There were 3 or 4 prototypes that are worth huge money.

Fully agree but how many of the 7414 exsist in the world and more importantly in Australia.....that's what makes them worth the money. Would i buy that bike for that money, unequivocally,  NO!!!

lot of money for an ornament!

what else could you do with it at that price but look at it? it's not like a 15 year old CBR600 isn't as fast and a lot easier to ride for 1/20th of the price of that!!!

    Crikey!

nice bike, i can appreciate old classics and a CB750 is very cool, not that cool though

Hey if i bought it i would ride it but certainly it would also be insured. Currently trying to buy a 1978 CBX 1000 and would ride that as well. Have found one in a museum with 50 miles on it, wont ride it .....that often!

Hey i am not in the market for that bike but would not part with a $1 without a really good look and due diligence before i cut a cheque.

Nice bike. Had a K2 for about 18 months when I was 18-19. Tried every day to blow it up. I didn't succeed, it just kept going.
    $60,000 plus?
Not me. That'd get me a lot of parts and petrol.

Agree its just the fact that its a relatively rare bike guess makes up some of the price
