First up KC, you have possibly The Best forum going around at the moment. Brand specific but with the freedom of chatting about others. Dedicated primarily to Harley Davidson, primarily in Australia, which I expect is exactly what the members here want. I know I do. From my perspective, you've nailed it. I've done other forums in the past and have settled here for good reason. If I want to research the wifes' Vstar I go to one of the other myriad of (mostly international) forums, most of which are sterile, they don't get my sense of humor or sarcasm, they just can't take a joke. The people, the knowledge and the comraderie you've gathered together here on Your website is second to none.

Sounds promising KC, So from what I understand the new site will just be a different domain name, and this domain name will have several motorcycle forums under it.

I joined this site :

a) As a new Harley owner [in order to learn]!

b) I don't/will not commit to social media on a broader scale!

I understand  the appeal of a wider target audience "appeal to the masses", however I joined this site because it was specific to my needs [ I ride a Harley]...and I wish to hear from fellow Harley Riders, good bad or indifferent! 
Whilst you suggest the content will not change for Harley owners and the changes and will broaden the appeal for riders in general , I tend to disagree!
Any brand rider can log onto a web/site:

I'm here because:
1) I ride a Harley, and until the consumer laws change in Australia, I've found this site a voice for issues and problems.
2) Great opportunity to meet people and discuss bike related issues!
3) No bullshit/ people call a spade a spade!

Now I'm not sure how this page is funded, and people claim waning membership numbers?

I guess the funding model will depend on the social platform going forward [i can see how that works].

But I appeal to us old chrome bikers...we just want to ride! And listen/comment to your thoughts!

as there is no proof of ownership, this forum is open to anyone that registers, no matter what they ride, even those that dont ride.

why other brands or no bike people would join a HD forum can only be shit stirers or tyre kickers
