Hi Dave from Ipswich, just picked up (yesterday) a Super Low after being off bike for 8 years! First Harley for me so pretty noobed up re the marque, so, first thing was to get forummed and tap in to peeps in the know.... be prepared for some pretty dumb questions.....

I needed to get something lower, narrower and not so knee dragingly blitzy, and if the bike was going to be a HD, it had to be a Sportster, no question. Any way this is the bike, I have spent all of 30 minutes on it, of course today it is raining after three solid weeks of 30 degree days, so I'm not really certain about set-up etc. Hopefully I'll get and hour or two on it tomorrow to gauge tyre pressures, shock settings, bushes and bearings and overall handling, seems OK-ish but I dont have much to reference against.

Hilly nailed it, in USA that can't wait I think they celebrate the new year 6 months before it ever happens. I don't like BS myself. but thats how it is. as I said enjoy it!
is your HR still three on the tree? I used to love my EH ute was a 179 I put X2 cast iron header & the twin carbs, was three on the tree.

AAARRRGGH, Ive just had to fork out for a front door window winder regulator, the price of which will remain an embarrassing secret. It is one of the few spares I didn't have on hand, I needed to know your mate!

The jump in the value of these old bombs really took me by surprise, one day they were worth a few bob and within the space of about 12 months people were paying big quids for them, I was constantly having peeps stopping me and asking if I would sell.
