Looking to get some new mufflers for the Duoglide, the OEM style cigar mufflers on it are just way to quiet, and having a perforated angled steel baffle set right down inside it looks impossible to punch the holes out bigger like I did on the Shovels Paugcho exhaust.

Was looking at the V-Twin OEM repop fishtails but they seem to have a steel baffle as well and I'm thinking they might not be much of an improvement over what I have, then I'm thinking of maybe going the fishtail extension route which are basically just 28 to 33" slip ons with a fishtail on the end, but I am worried they might be to open and bottom end will suffer.

    Thoughts or recommendations?

    Hi there.
Back in the day the factory offered supaquiet mufflers as an option. These may be what you have.
i" galvanised water pipe sharpened to form 2 V's on one end should take out what you have inside.
Be carefull whilst knocking with a heavy hammer.
This should give you a straight through passage. Not too lould but a nice sound.
    Regards B.B.
ps Add the fishtail extensions if this all works.
