Back in 1994 I remember opening a bike magazine and seeing the "new" Triumph Speed Triple with a Rottweiler chained up beside it. As a young bloke the add sold me and I new Id have one eventually. 24 years later I finally grabbed one to put in the shed with my FXDWG. I love em both and am a happy man. Now I have to explain ti to the Mrs LOL

They are great engines, and I have seen a couple of them with over 300,000 km's and still going strong, enjoy

One of my favourite bikes also, as a matter of fact I like all the 900 triples Triumph made prior to fuel injection , these three cylinder bikes have one of the best sounding exhaust notes ever, the bikes are extremely well built, It's amazing what John Bloor did, from nothing to world class motorcycles in less than 10 years,

I love looking at the Trumpets of that vintage when I first started out on bikes. I still lust after them and the early twin headlight Speed Triples.

Don’t worry about the missus. It’s a black bike; it will blend in.

Agree, the early twin round headlight models are the best

Nice bike mate. Love the colour LOL. Do you have any idea where I could get a seat cowl from? I search the internet high and low.

First day off yesterday since I picked up the Speed Triple. Rainy day so I only managed a short ride for about an hour. Sun is out today so I'm off to see what she can do through the twisties. It sure is different to the FXDWG. I think the HD is much easier to ride and a lot more comfortable. Must be getting old LOL
