    Hi All

Want to fit in some longer rides "over-nighters", interested saddle bags for the breakout.  Anybody running them atm? Tried to fit a mates Softail bags but the opening wouldn't fit.

Would appear the FXSB docking bolts differ from the standard Softail in terms of fit/diameter???

    a) Any body running with them?

    b) Any issues re: fitting and still re-taining the Sissy bar for pillion?

    Comments appreciated!

I put a set of Twin Cam Fatboy detachable bags on my 09 Springer which is the same setup as the Breakout. Did have to move the Rear Blinkers back - there is a Harley Blinker Relocation part for it and also had to do some mods to the bottom bracket (heating up the bracket and bending it to fit) that connects to the saddlebag to the footpeg.
The Breakout bags have a bit of a weird look to them.

Well ordered Viking Bags, how pissed off am I!...Maybe should have paid the big bucks for the HD Originals!

Bag's delivered, but no docking hardware! Shit load of phone calls an e-mails, finally got that!

Then they want a review! [comments below]...I'm venting!!!! And a few wines before the game! Am I right or wrong?

    Cheers and Beers

    Hi XXXX

Your email you’ve sent asked for a review, when I click on Review this product it returns to your homepage!

Makes it a bit difficult! So I thought Id pass my comments direct!

So, in terms of my own review out of a score of 10, as a business I’ll grade you as a 4!
The only reason I give 2 extra points..is I did receive the docking hardware a few days after my 9 calls and two e-mails!
Hardware was never included with the delivery of the saddle bags!

    1.    You say the bags are for the bike described in your drop down menu (Softail Breakout)
    2.    Yet I still have to drill holes in brand new bags x8...and work out length, and height from guard and overall position!
    3.    To be honest, your the supplier/manufacturer.......is that something you should have done?
    4.    A double A4 sided “shitty -photocopy” sheet of paper leaves a lot to be desired,!
    5.    If your advertising as an Australian Business, please man the phones accordingly!

It’s all well and good to take a shot, but here’s my reply:

    1.    If you advertise a product, ensure it fits [would appear I need to make a 45 degree change at the base of the brackets]
Based on the distance of the bolts on the side plates/arm!
    1.    Please ensue somebody can take a phone call!! (during our hours!)
    2.    If the purchaser has to modify, at least supply pre-drilled holes to suit for that model bike!
    3.    The bolts supplied to fit into the side arm have multiple nick’s and gouges, I’m reluctant to fit in case I cross thread them!

In short, whilst I acknowledge your product is made in Pakistan, the attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired!
Not sure who completes your final quality control?  Having said the above, I would assume that would be something you would look into going forward!

In addition, I’m not sure if your part of the MAG that’s currently filled for Chapter 11?

But suffice to say, I’m very disappointed with the Viking Brand!

I’m an active member/participant in a number of forums in Australia  and will continue to voice my opinion!

Trust you find the above in order?

    Kind regards

    Steve
