oil light

    ive just noticed my wire is broken on my oil pressure switch and when i start the bike the light still goes off  i thought the light should stay on if wire is broken any ideas

    Shit weasel, had a friend called "weasel", but he was a 50"s model. Light if no current should be red idiot flash.
    Tracing electric diagram and one of those things that don't go "ping!", albeit a voltage/ohm reader such as digitech or similar, will help shit loads. 
    Apologies if telling you to suck somthin, but testers are great value, for anyone else reading...P"tickularly new bloody electronic shit on bikes these days.
