Any information would be appreciated on those who have had experience with Andrews 54 & 57 cams, i currently have heavy breather, SEPST and Bassani Sweeper pipes, was wanting more mid range grunt as do alot of 2 up riding with missus. Was told to go the Andrews 54 but after searching this forum and others alot of people say 57 if you are not doing head work. Any information and guidance would be appreciated

57 suits your compression more, another really good newish cam is the Cycle Rama 570-2, look it up before you commit to a purchase, bit dearer for us to get than the Andrews cams but it has runs in the board state side, check on HTT.

I agree with Hilly on all counts. The cr570 or 575 would be first pick. Andrews 57h is good. Their 54 not so good for your purposes. Their 48 is a very good low-mid cam.

This one that Durwood just tuned shows what's to be had if you use the right bits, had been tuned previously with the SE Pro and he re-did it with Power Vision and his usual array of tools, no other changes. Numbers aside the gains are obvious.

Good stuff. What cams did you end up with?
What pipe are you gonna run?
Bet you’re excited. Agree tune is very important. Some skimp on this cost which doesn’t make sense to me at all

    Good luck with it Wombat!
as been mentioned, pipes can kill the tune, if tight budget pick up Aussie made Sonic slip on's put stock headers.
