    G'day all,

Returned to AU after a decade in the US (most of which was in the company of an 05 LowRider), got myself settled and just picked up a shiny new Street Bob (in 30 years of riding, it's my first new bike!)

Right now it's totally stock, and I plan to keep it - mostly - that way for a while so I appreciate the Stage 1 when it eventually happens ;) Probably going to end up with some bling on it before long ... a rack and/or swingarm bag probably first things on the to-do list

So far really loving the ride... it's smoother and better behaved than the Dyna was for sure... just got to get used to the speed limits (and very attentive cops) here!

Hey man, welcome to the mad house. A decade in the States sounds great, hope you brought back a container of bikes, so many bargains over there. Cheers.

sadly didn't bring anything back from the US with me ... sold the Dyna (and the Mustang) as the math didn't work out. The Dyna was a weird transition year and parts even in the US were sometimes a pain, the Mustang... was going to cost too much for compliance and I'd probably not get the money back.
Compared to the Dyna it's weird riding something that's totally stock, but it's a really competent bike. Possibly going from 88cu" to 107cu" means I'm not missing out on the power (also, not having roads where I can cruise at 90mph without constantly worrying about the police makes me better behaved!)

My wife is laughing at my insistence that I'll keep it stock for at least a year, she's got her money on things turned up in about a week ;)
