Lofty bob has expressed skepticism i see of the pan america adv bike.
We need a volunteer early adopter to discover the sumpin' issues, broken frames and suspension etc
    on an outback run .
C'mon Loftybob, you know you want to....

Well they are going to lead this new change with the livewire and depending on the price it seems to have been widely accepted by all who have ridden it. Again lets hope they have  tested it to death so it can get the consumer tick for reliability

I believe the Livewire is going to be priced at the super premium end PB, or at least that’s what was indicated in the cycleword article that was referred to in the Matt Laidlaw video.

what I wonder is, under full power, what will the Livewire range be? How heavy is the battery the use & how big is it? how long for a full re charge?

Dont think there is going to be much full power in the urban commute it was designed for but yes battery life is always a question. Don't forget sitting at the lights its on standby mode running only the instruments and lights and slowing for those lights are regenerating power back into the battery

f they want me to test it, I will.
I bet I will find its shortcomings real quick.

Matt Laidlaw will be live streaming the dealer meet on his YT channel for anyone that’s interested.
I see there’s also been US epa docs leaked that strongly suggest the availability of the 114ci donk in the tourers. Yeewww!!!

the comeback we all really want...

Nah, Can-Am put wheels on them and flogged 'em off as motorcycles for people who really don't want to fall over.

I’ll take a road glide special in denim red thanks. New infotainment and 114 donk, the rumours there were true.

Gotta say, I’m diggin’ the FXDR114. Looks like it hauls ass. Stage 2 and it’s sorted.

    That price, tho!
The scout is half that and comparable. The Daviel will thrash this out of the box.

I dunno. I can’t see this selling well. I think the biggest upgrade Harley can make in 2020 is a good hard look at their pricing.

This bodes TERRIBLY for the LiveWire.

so close yet so far, all the recipe to be epic but then 34 degree rake and a 240 rear with forward'ish controls isn't screaming "Performance Orientated" to me.

    it's like a vrod & Rocker C concoction.

Sorry i think that the FXDR looks like a Jap attempt to mimic a Harley from the 80s! It looks like they got mismatched bits and bolted them to a frame.

That's exactly what i thought of the new Fatbob when i saw it last year, which has since grown on me.
The red denim version looks horn.
