So he complains the perps were driving fast and there were children around,  as he wildly fires his pistol repeatedly from a moving platform on a bumpy road...

how many rounds did he let loose?

he missed the guy in the back seat , he missed the driver , car spins out , he didnt shoot the driver , the spare in the back seat got off on foot

Was thinking the same, fires plenty of rounds off in a built up area with little regard but is upset the driver nearly runs over some kids.

    17 rounds, (full clip)
although he would (most likely) not have known that there was no Public about while he was looking down his sight, there wasn't, well I could not see any in the vision, I watched it a couple times

personally, I don't think he is not the best shot, and his rapid fire was to rapid for the ability
fix a holster to the side of his tank for easier accessibility
maybe a police chase in Australia would not go on for as long if those tactics were employed
and everyone knows, if the danger to other road people get to high, AU police pull back and the dog runs off and gets away (helicopter exempt)

Very interesting link, as we do not see that side of life in Australia. Sidelined to a few other links, and wow, that is life.
