    Getting a defect can be due to a number of reasons, maybe you can add some more.
    1. The person booking ya didn"t get a root the night before
    2.It is just such an obviously ridiculous inclusion or non inclusion for your particular ride.This covers a lot of shit..
    3.You did something really dumb to attract unwarranted attention.
    4.Coppers and Road mismanagement people are blitzing.
    5 You didn"t put a coupla Sharks in with ya licence when you handed it over.

    Sure, each to their own. But on multilane roads I like to continuously monitor the idiots in cars behind me on both sides without having to turn my head to see what's going on.

    in all seriousness, i still dont know if it is legal or illegal, the cops can defect you for anything weather they are wrong or right. 

    I only had 1 at the time as 1 was broken at the time for some reason, can't remember why.. Was done for handlebars too which was more of an issue

    One looks better, I rode with one for couple years a long time ago.
    However in this day and age I would not go without two especially in the city or riding with few mates. Got to know where they are and two allow that.

    the time I was defected the "autofest" was on and there were 60 extra coppers down from Adelaide in town on a mission..
