Harley sales slump

    Harley sales are down 18% over the same time last year. Their big seller last year was the 500 street selling 609 compared to 466 for the same period this year , a 23.5% reduction. Harley now dont get a gig in the top 10 selling bikes where they previously have had several .  Interestingly Indian does not get a mention at all

    As a daily visitor to Bikesales, I see the number of used Harley’s for sale, currently 3,245 is the highest I can recall and generally used Harley prices are falling too. Plenty asking bigger bucks but they sit there for months, some I know we’re simply withdrawn.
    Watching the 5 pm news tonight, I see a Suzuki add, odd for this segment, maybe other makes sales are also slowing.
    Interesting to see Indian sales are up 28%.
