Am lucky to see one new Commodore a week (saw one today) and wouldn't have seen more than 10 in total to date.

Good question. Perhaps I'm looking at this all wrong.
Holden is actually an innovator and market leader.
It's the first car company brand in the entire world........that doesn't build a single car.
But they are experts in making badges to stick on those cars.

Have you seen the new Commodore, it's an abortion.
Apart from that the competition is now a pony car and the fuckers are everywhere.
Could of bought a run out GT 500 for 58.5 K.

Cause there cars are shit and have been for years now.
People want reliable cars that are cheap to run and maintain.
I hate to say it but there is no brand as reliable as Toyota.
Hyundai and Mazda are building better cars then ford and Holden.

You're referring to the imported Holdens of course.
My 60th Anniversary V6 Aussie built VE Commodore which I bought new in 2008 hasn't missed a beat in 10 years of ownership. Still like driving it.

Could be because  although the older ones that we were used to were great cars , the newer ones like the cruze , were buckets of shit ,  made on the cheap in foreign countries and threw together here , by workers who did'nt give a fuck  once they knew there jobs were on the way out ,

Hi KK it's clocked up 140,000 trouble free km's and still running strong.

Hi OldFarter, don't know what drugs you're on but I suggest you wind back the dosage. My VE looks nothing like the Opel. The current Commodore is a re-badged Opel.

One of the main reasons sales figures are down is the loss of government contracts, Police, council, fire, and of course Taxi's

    Rodders 140,000 is nothing.
Glad your hassle free though, must of got a good one.
I had 08 SS ute after younger years of good Holden’s HTs/HQs but it was the biggest bucket of shit I’ve ever owned, was glad to be gone if it. Swore never again.

I just picked up an VF SV6 Storm with 30+km on it to run to work. Someone told me Holden left the best until last. Pretty good car. A lot of bells and whistles that have me a bit lost with but the 3.6 motor is pretty nippy and it handles as well as my old VE SSV. I looked at a lot of cars but happy I settled on this one. In saying that I pissed of the 2012 VE Omega. 3l heap of shit sludge bucket.

She is far from stock Hilly and to get the ride height i want with the stance I want it needs the 16's and  would probably look even better with 17's which i might do when it needs new tyres.HD Forums Australia - 20161217_141432.jpg
Its sitting lower at the back now since this pic and also a touch lower at the front. Thats the good part about having coil overs front and rear and setting it up properly. It still sits at 110mm which is legal.
