another day in the yard, had a blackout Friday during a storm, wife found the freezer with water coming out of it this morning, still sounds like it was running but all defrosted.
the wife and I are still (1 week) from having our Barometric sleeves on our stomachs, so cant eat any of it, so all vegies were in the bin, a couple phone calls and gave away 48 Whiting fillets, 18 Costco muffins, 6kg wagyu mince, 2kg spicy wing and 2kg chicken bites
the had to cook in the smoker, 3Kg pork leg, 11 sausages, 1 ribeye, 2 chicken Maryland, 2 forequarter chops, 2 kg chicken wings (whiskey), 2kg chicken wings (spicy), 18 kebabs and I cooked an onion as an experiment
    frypan, 24 whiting fillets
in the slow cookers, chicken chasseur (1kg), satay chicken (1Kg) and bolognaise (2Kg mince)
tomorrow, we will be cooking another 3Kg of mince as meatballs and hamburgers.
Touched up the rib-eye and served in mushroom sauce made from its own juices

    What a day SB!.
Did you have mates just lobbing over eating up the treats and going again?.
I seem to remember this is not the first time your power has cut out and left you with a freezer full of thawed tucker.

This time I never unplugged the wrong freezer
We had a power outage and I recon it spiked the freezer

We cooked as much as we could fit in our car freezer (80lt) and gave a heap away
Must have gave away 5kg of whiting fillets

Can’t refreeze but can cook and then freeze

Come down to Adelaide to buy a new freezer so will pop into Cosco and restock some before doctors appointment tomorrow  then home

    Dear Dr. Phil,
When I retired, I could hardly wait to spend time enjoying my favorite pastime -- mangrove jack fishing.
I bought my own little fishing boat and tried to get my wife to join me, but she just never liked fishing.
Finally, one day down at the Bait & Tackle Shop, I got to talking to Sam the shop owner, who it turned out, loves Mangrove jack fishing as much as I do. We quickly became fishing buddies.
As I said, the wife doesn't care about fishing. She not only refuses to join us, but she always complains that I spend too much time out on the lake.
A few weeks ago Sam and I had the best fishing trip ever. Not only did I catch the most beautiful Pickerel you've ever seen, only a few minutes later Sam must have caught its twin brother!
So I took a picture of Sam holding up the two nice mangrove jacks that we caught and showed the picture to my wife, hoping that maybe she'd get interested.
Instead she says she doesn't want me to go fishing at all anymore! And she wants me to sell the boat!
I think she just doesn't like to see me enjoying myself.
What would you do? Tell the wife to forget it and continue my hobby, or quit fishing and sell the boat as she insists?
    Thanks,
    Dicko
P.S. Enclosed is a picture of Sam with the two mangrove jacks we caught
    Dear Dicko
Get rid of that narrow-minded wife.
That's a nice pair of Jacks

70 Lightning. Getting its Christmas present, go over everything, then the only thing that can shit itself is the stuff that was going to fail anyway.

    Cheers.

    Good stuff !.
You should have some fun riding that.
It's nice to have a Harley that breathes over a hundred horses, but the old bikes are as much, if not more fun in many ways.
