    Best to ask VPW.

would definitely do that, only they don't know anything about spacers at all

The spacing of the caliper looks perfectly functional .
I recently did something similar when trying to center a wheel, but using a 3mm spacer (stainless washer !). No problems.
I don't think it would be possible to fit a disc spacer as thin as that and still retain the boss that centers the disc on the wheel.

I run wide glide wheels on my softails  and have done pretty much the same thing as you
As I centred the wheels  but I kept the pulley side same  position as Oem would be
Than spaced the brake side by machining caliper and spacers  for the brake side  just
Make sure your disk is in the center of caliper   And As hilly said you can get that
Spacer and even thinner ones from Vulcan engineering in the USA   And drag Specialties
Make super thin pulley/ disc spacers swell  like the others have said as long the
Caliper is located enough you shouldn’t have any issues

The disc spacer won't work as I have stated. Due to the thickness needed, you wont be able to correctly retain the disc cenetring boss.
What I will say after looking at the pics is the spacer you used may be a bit undersized.
Use a spacer that is the same size or slightly larger than the caliper bracket O.D.

Yep depends what thickness is needed but you can buy them with out the boss  made
Out of thin metal  to the thicker alloy type  but yes you need that boss support
Then there’s the fact that there’s different size hub boss aswell    Evo to Tc
As there mammoth  aftermarkets  maybe evo ?  Or Tc

Should change your brake pads too to Lyndals aswell. Lest brake dust on all those spokes cleaner for a lot longer  lol

    Hi mate,
For what its worth I recently did a similar job on my 09 Dyna Low Rider, threw a 200 Softail wheel under it off a Fatboy.

To fix your problem could you move your spacer from its current location to between the hub and the disc? I had to muck around a lot with spacers on my wheel conversion, mm too much here, mm too much there, was a lot of on-off wheel installs until everything worked perfectly after torquing the axle down and not having the disc bind up or rub anywhere, on the belt side and/or pipes side of the disc.

Your bike will look sick with the new hoops.

Should be fine but I would use a larger diameter washer. I had to do the opposite with my rear wheel mod, machined some off the caliper mount to move it all over more to the right then machined a wider left hand spacer. Also machined a pulley spacer to get the belt away from the tyre a bit

Yep me too Hilly. The one at work is 3500 km from home :(
Hare and Forbes do some good small ones, the metalmaster series, had one on the last boat I was on, gonna miss it.

To the OP, fit bigger diameter spacer on the axle as has been said, and if you are worried about the mounting bolts not having the same reach as the stock you could buy some slightly longer ones and cut them down to the length of the stock bolt plus the new spacer, but I don't think a mm or two would be a concern really, any more defiantly would warrant some bespoke bolts.

    Cheers

As long as the spacers are the same as stock between the wheel and the caliper then you can do what you want past that.

hi dan069. luck of the draw with those wheels,i have the same ones on my "Bobber Build". front one leaks, rear is ok
The problem is that they have a strip of sealer around the inside of the rim,and if not perfect air will leak though the
spokes, you could try to reseal it or just put a tube in like i did...jocky. just finished my build waiting on the engineer
    pics soon.
