not too bad, but having to rev that high to get Torque not my style I like it at half that rev at least.
    Ducati 1200 monster has more.
if they sell good for India!!

JamesJ, the pipes look to have heat covers, S&S would know how to insulate from heat.

yeah i noticed that,i thought more from the radiant heat build up over time.  Not burn the leg hot but uncomfortable after a few hours?

Form over function was patented by HD a long time ago

I think S&S made up that style pipe, as the Flat track style getting people excited again. but us Aussies don't call it Flat Track, we call it speedway. it's all marketing, same as the 120HP just probably measured on an engine Dyno at the Factory and from the crank and might be at a very narrow rev band up high. you would really need to go for a long test ride. give me a Panhead & kick start only!!

Krash you of all people should know that a flat track bike is a totally different type/style of bike with totally different motors, frames , brakes , no brakes , suspension rules etc. All manufacturers of vehicles that give HP figures are "factory quoted" numbers anyway and most likely from the crank . Still happy to have 120hp at the crank, thats plenty of giddy up.

looks better...at least you dont mistake it for a Ducati at first glance :) what improves the look as well is the deleted rear number plate / mudguard atrocity ...also i noticed the lack of headlight indicators mirrors front guard etc.... at least it would be lighter hahaha!!!

Prototype power run, should be close to the production bike.

Thanks Speedster pretty good but did you count how many seconds he had that wide open for to get that Power & Torque?
I counted to 20 seconds, I've said before, when I take my bike to dyno to test, I ask for a timed run, as well as maximum 6,5000rpm or when HP starts to drop off. I tell them on timmed 5 seconds maximum as I'm only going to have it flat out for three or four seconds in any gear at the track. & on street never really keep them open wide too long as I'm over speed limit quick.
but if I was taking bike to the salt, would be different & have a different set up & tune. but I'm not going to the salt.
just explaining how I see it.

Hey Krash,  If you check at the 40 second mark when he cracks the throttle, it runs about 10 seconds until the limiter.
Also the run starts at about 1500 rpm (likely done in 5th gear), where as at the strip, you would never launch like that.
They are meant to weigh in at 235kg wet, so they should still be fairly quick.

Indian have just released the accessory packs for the new FTR 1200...$$$$ to be spent there!!
Yep prices seem expensive but wont be long before the aftermarket lads start making better cheaper bits. AMCN has just ridden and tested it......they love it
