Jesus LB now that’s a rig built for cruising comfort

Not wrong mate, won't need to worry about accommodation on the way home lol.

It has a brand new 5KVA generator with it as well as 2 x long range fuel tanks on the F250 = 260 Litres

You could drag Adelaide somewhere more interesting with that rig.

    Makes my Ranger look small.

Maybe drag the wine section up to QLD but please leave all the SA sour people down there to whine about loosing their wines

Bloody. Mazda service is meant to be better than Ford!

Have you asked about the switch off option? I’m getting first service tomorrow so I will ask, out interest but will leave it alone (with fingers crossed).

I refuse to ever attend a Mazda dealership again! I have been told, true or not, that the smart alternator can be reprogrammed via a service tool to charge differently to its current factory settings. I will mention it to our mechanic on its next service. Just as a matter of conversation just mention that you have some concerns about so many people having an issue just to see what his reaction is when you take yours in tomorrow...

Pretty sure u can get an alternator charge booster.....it’s just a diode which goes in the fuse box and instead of charge rate dropping it remains constant.

I have had one in my Hilux running fridge and stuff for 8 years now with no issues whatsoever...and only on its second battery.

I too have a spade diode that replaces the spade fuse on the alternator of our 200 series Diesel . Boosted charge from 13.7 to 14.1/14.2 volts to charge a deep cell battery whilst driving . I'm pretty sure it's not a smart charger type alternator , but another new type .

Flew to Perth and Stropp picked us up and drove us down to Albany to collect the new 5th wheel and F250 combo. Very happy with it, and am currently on my way back to Adelaide to get her ready for our big trip.

Hey mate - I got a MY19 Ford Wildtrak, with the biturbo engine and genuine bullbar.
Really happy with it so far with 7500 kms over the last two months. Great ride on/off road, I’m particularly impressed with how good it is as a touring machine. And it came with 5 years free servicing and warranty. Only mod I have planned is a set of spotties.

Nice one, I have the 3.2 Ranger and very happy with it.  I fitted a light bar from https://www.stedi.com.au/ the quality of their stuff is amazing.  far better than a few others I have tried and prices are very good.  You can order on line and they have spotties as well.  can supply wiring kits so basically plug and play.  Not sure where you are but their showroom is in Hoppers Crossing in Vic.  They have lights and bars set up for demos.

Binnsy - that’s the lot I’m going with. Steadily seem to have a good rep and the reviews I’ve read put them close to the top too.
I haven’t decided whether to go 24 inch lightbar or the 9 inch spotties. More for looks and occasional use.

Yeah seen that. Doesn’t impact newer models. And perhaps when changing the oil, do it quick - don’t go read the paper or post on HD Forums.
