    Hey guys,
I'm trying to replace my original radio on my 1986 FLHTC.
I realise there is a very slim chance of getting one but I'm trying everywhere.
Doesn't matter if the original wires are buggered or butchered as long as it works.

    Thanks

Read this on VTwin Forum. Fellow had same issue in 2010. He had been looking for 2 years for a replacement
They mention the OEM Radio Sound who it seems may repair their old radios.

I'm assuming you've googled the issue to death?
    Good luck

    Hi Steelo,
Yes I've done plenty of research however I hadn't come across 'Radio Sound', thanks.
I was aware that the wiring, switching had changed from '89 which doesn't help my cause.

My radio unit is currently in Melbourne with a guy who came highly recommended, he fixes old school radios in cars, bikes etc.
But he said he's having issues just getting it to power up plus the switches are buggered.

Thanks anyway. think I'll have a better chance getting hold of rocking horse shit.

I stay committed at this stage.
