Forward Controls Question.

Well guys I have a few questions regarding forward controls on the 2018 Low Rider.
First question is do any Low Rider owners that are 6ft, or there abouts find the stock riding position cramped, and if you did what forward controls have you replaced the stockkers with??
So far I've only sat on the Slim and found it a little low, but I have a test ride booked on the Sport Glide at Morgan and Wacker on Tuesday.
Now this is where the frustration lies. Although I like the SG, I also love the Low Rider but I don't know how to go about extension kits. So any information regarding aftermarket or OEM kits is greatly appreciated. Please forgive the naive questions because as you can guess I've never purchased a Harley, but I'm doing my research.

I asked Gold Coast Harley this exact question last week regarding the 2018 Lowrider. They said that they can fit forwards on to it but there are no offical forward controls available for that model at this stage but they make them up from other 2018 softails. Its around $1200 for the parts and around $600 for labour so its approx $1800 all up and they have done quite a few. I love the look of the Lowrider but adding two grand to the bike (plus another two grand for the stage one and pipes) puts the price up to within striking distance of a Heritage which is my dream ride so yeah, its a tough call. I haven’t ridden the Lowrider so I can’t give advice about the riding position but I’m 6ft and judging by the reviews I’ve seen I would definately be looking at forwards...

Well that blows that out of the water for now Dither. I've still got 12 months till I will have my first Harley. So hopefully by then HD will have done something in regards to the issue?

I see this is an old post but there are genuine forwards available for 2018+ Softails now. Also a lot of guys with fat bobs and such that are wanting to fit mids, I've straight swapped someone the OEM mids from my FXBB for his OEM forwards. Much cheaper than buying from Harley.
