Yes. I run Roadking hard pannniers on my 99 Softail with a set of Bassani Tru Duals. There are different brackets out there but I preferred Cyclevision Baggertail as they have a bottom mount brace which connects both sides and stops the wagging.. Couple of hundy to get them in, bolt straight up with no issues. You will always find hardbags on Gumtree or Ebay as well as the clips, handles etc. I have another set of 4" extended bags in the garage if I want to change the look slightly.
