For those that don’t know this is for owners not dealers.

    Harley home page,
    Along top press owners,
    Maintenance schedule,
    English,
    Australia,
    Put in VIN number,
Along top is recalls etc for that VIN no and other info on selected VIN

Thanks for a very useful post
My bike is listed for the recall harley don't have the parts in stock they are on order

I know that, that's why I am waiting to see if they call, not worried about it though as by next service
    they should have the parts.

My 2017 Road Glide Special is on the recall list as well ... rang Chris at Gasoline and he confirmed it last week but even they haven`t got any info from Harley Australia as yet and i haven`t recieved anything in writing as yet ... haven`t noticed any issues just yet ... hopefully i have dodged a bullet like i did with the M8 motor issues .

Carn`t say enough how good this motor feels ... althought it is the full blown Stage 4 Screaming Eagle engine , so it would want to feel good , Lol .

Spoke to my local HD dealership today.  They are expecting the first of their allotment of Recall Kits tomorrow.  They are getting three.  That will cover the new bikes on the showroom floor that need it before being sold.   They are taking names of people who call and will do the recall work in that order once the rest of the kits arrive.   Recommended not to ride until sorted.

WOW Three units! Shows the contempt that is shown to owners of prestige bikes. Will the dealer lend you a bike till the repair is done?

Exactly - and they wonder why new bike sales are hard to come by these days

Its a little like the airbag dragging of the chain by the car manufacturers in Aust, they rely on our it will be sweet nature to avoid their legal obligations

    so true
i received a letter from BMW telling me that my car had an airbag recall. The letter spoke of exploding shrapnel that could maim or be fatal.I rang the dealership who casually told me they didn't have the parts and there would be a several week wait.I quoted the fatality warning in their letter,(with a graphic rhetorical question of me being in an accident and the airbags killing me)asked for a free loan car from BMW until my death risk was abated and asked for their comments about delay in writing.I called head office and voiced my concerns in these terms.I got a call back 5 minutes later from the dealership with a recall warranty booking within 3 days as they had :"sourced" the part from another dealership.I usually say fuck it ,but this time the combination of shock tactics in their letter to me followed by casual inaction from someone on the phone who knew fuck all about cars pissed me off.My point? Corporations routinely do nothing until the customer proves to be potential legal trouble. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!
