Street 500 mirrors

    Soooo ....   The missus wanted a new motorcycle & being tiny decided on a Street 500 & even that had to be fitted with shorter shocks & the reach seat.
    Now to sort out what Harley hasn't bothered to fix since it's release, first up the useless mirrors.

    Anyone had luck with the mirror extenders?  Longer stem mirrors?  Genuine Harley accessory mirrors?  Aftermarket mirrors?

    yep, mirrors are useless.
    I fitted bar end mirrors on my missus' Street 500

    The mirror extenders work well but choosing which bolts/nuts in the kit are to get used I think was an issue. ( It was 3 years ago )

    Later on I think used Vrod mirrors and the extenders, and this allowed overlap of the vision from each mirror.

    But if the user aint that broad then the extenders will be adequate.

    Sorted.  The extended reach mirrors did the trick, they screw through the riser pieces that come with the 500 with standard, useless mirrors.
