Just wanted to post about The Thunderbolts Way and The Buckets Way which both join up at Gloucester NSW.
A friend of mine had a group of his mates travel that way a week or so ago and the carnage to their bikes was pretty bad.
A rear rim on spoked wheel trashed, I think a breakout. Front mag wheel from a Steetglide trashed.
I've seen the photos and both wheels are bin-jobs.
Also a rear guard that needs to be replaced from damage.
It's a wreckers road, avoid it.
    Hope this helps someone.

Just back from Sunshine Coast -Hunter Valley run and return today. Yes the road is pretty shit but never found it to be as bad as the damage mentioned. Fair few bits of broken tar and gravel around . We came home via the highway and that is FUCKED! Roadworks from Byron Bay to Ballina, 100, 80, 40, stop, 60,100,40, 80......fuck my patience was tested

Rode those roads last year to Woolongong for the Harley Days weekend and have ridden them half a dozen other times ... definitly some bad sections but try riding some of our back country roads up here in Gods country .. { Go the Maroans , Lol } .. and you will definitly know what a bad road is .

They must have hit some nasty potholes to destroy those wheels though ... but as Pauly says that pain in the arse boring main Hwy drives a man to road rage with the constant road works and stop starts ... but everyone to their own i suspose .
