    hi all, iv just inharited a 1985 fxr lowrider and need it re-wired. can anyone recomend someone that could help me out with that.. im in south east melbourne, cheers

    Mate, I would go first to the boys in your area, for Harley Davidson. Being Easy R crew and Eastern Big Twin Boys. Heard they do know their shite .Port a call one.

    Ive got a 92 fxr wiring harness on my shelf.
    Not much help, but ill be going down the Motogadget route and wiring up the bike myself. The motogadget units give you a few cool features.

    Do you mean totally rewired or just a section?  The old bikes have bugger all wiring

    I’ve had a bunch of mates use those moto gadget units and reported nothing but trouble.. apparently great on smooth running 4cyl bikes but struggle with vibrations on singles and twins.

    Interesting. I know stacks of ppl using them in the states on FXRs, and 1 or two here. Maybe the rubber mounting helps?

    thanks for the help fellas... pretty sure it all needs to be re done, they have been cut in a few different spots so its hard to tell what went where
