Hey @nelsondude, do you still have that air shock? I'm in Perth, I'd be interested.

I got to "initially I was impressed" and then I was like. What and then who and then I died a little..
I got through though. Good post and write up.

Oh yes, I'm sure we've spoken about helmets and bags of rubbish on the porch when staging the perfect pic.

    Fussy old bugger !

Good write up. Quick question, how do those solid rims feel on a windy day. Most know that the earlier Fatty's use suffer a bit by getting blown around a bit on windy days with the solid rims on them, any difference with the new bike.

    Hi Choco,
Not a dig but that statement IMO is ridiculous. I have an 07 fatty with solid rims and doesn't worry me at all.
So what "most" are saying is that even on a motorcycle with spoked wheels, making god knows how many revolutions at 100kmh the wind somehow makes it through. Not shore physics would let that happen.

Love that bike nelsondude, even with the bag of rubbish on the porch :-)

Having had a fatty I agree I always thought the wind on the wheels thing was bullshit too.
