  Lost a bit of faith in the last two years mate. 
  

  Came good in the end though. More effort this week but need to get combo’s sorted. Be nice to have a A team and not ppl out of positions and stuff.

  Lucky I had a good exfil plan.
  

  Great game and a number of Cowboys players were generous with their time after the game, big JT in particular.

  
  

  The Raiders crowd were good - at least where I was at the lower part of the main stand, the place was family friendly and the grog lines were not too long.

  Origin teams are picked, don't give a toss what Freddy does but I'm not impressed with our line up, don't care how much he rants and raves he got it wrong, and why would you not pick Jake? Punches above his weight most weeks and would shine in that arena, kinda bummed to be honest.

  I would have included Jake for the week and sent him home on the weekend if needs be. I'm not a fan of Walters love affair with Hunt - he's had his turn, give someone else a go. And why wouldn't you have Matt Scott as the older in-form forward? It is the 'old blokes' that delivered the titles previously!
  

  I'm very sceptical over DCE as captain. Just don't see it. Maybe we were too spoilt with Smith and company. I would have looked harder at Morgan, Munster or even one or two others.
  
  

  Saying all that, it's done now. All we can do is get behind them 100%. I hope our scepticism is misplaced; I will be cheering if all of the above prove me wrong!

  Like you i am not a fan of Hunt ....he has a mistake or three in his game but can also be brilliant. DCE not so many mistakes but seems very predictable with his plays and agree he is not captain material
