That’s funny too jj. I think he could have made it if he’d been standing on the boards and gotten more of a run up.

    Of course he could have.
Reckon he may be just an unskilled rider.
I doubt he could make it up my driveway.

that was very entertaining.. those big tourers could do with a reverse gear..

More like a winch & drop down training wheels!! but I think it's stupid, thinking tyres like that & no extra ground clearance will make it an adventure bike. but just how I feel, I think personally a side car with a drive hook up and two inch or three inch lift & a reverse gear as well as knobbly tyres  would be a more positive approach. but who know's. I saw on News some 4WD's doing jumps over sandhill's up at Stockton Beach, maybe thats what he should try to do on the Road King & get on the news.

Hate to admit it, but your spot on Mick!
After that beach ride, I wondered if it's worth it. But the smile on his face from the salt spray showed he is riding for the love of Riding!!

I just installed a new gasket in crossover exhaust pipe on my bike, and noticed this in the his video,,,, Personally, I thought it was a good pickup !!!
Looks like that is a major crack in pipe,,, don't know what that spacer is in the middle of the pipe ,, Probably a shithouse repair job that came apart.....
No doubt that bike would have fucked up pieces all over the bike …..Anyway back to normal transmission …...

If i recall that thing in the middle is the bracket that goes on to the pipe and then the tranny

Yes PB ,, you are right,,, that crossover pipe is round, not a flat square type,, silly me for not picking that up ,,, must be aftermarket exhaust , or the new tourers have a round crossover pipe ,,,, There still is a major crack in pipe … I don't think it will make much difference to him,, as when he is finished this trip he probably wont have any exhaust on the bike, or anything else for that matter  ...
