I can't imagine there will be many people rushing out to buy this funny looking thing. What do you reckon of this?

Starting to get interested in this bike now. Although have to consider the 50% higher tyre replacement costs.

50% tyre increase is only a minor expense, also brake pads
the wife's Spyder with the two front wheels is only an issue when they need changing and then it has to be done, worry about it then

that was a good clip/review, unbiased
would one be more interested in a car if they bought out a 3 wheel version of your favorite make on cheaper tyre replacement alone

by that post Rodders, you are soon to get the interest sent off to Yamaha

So do you think that type fork set up will be coming out for normal two wheeled bikes?

Interesting thought, both sides together would be kinda like a hydraulic Springer. I’d be into that as an aftermarket front end.
Single sided though? With two, the MXT is sharing the load but I’m sure Yamaha has the engineering nouse to beef it up but other than a bit of gimmick marketing and making for quicker wheel changes, I’m struggling to think of an advantage.
I’d like to see them or Harley come up with a two wheel drive hybrid. Petrol powered rear, electric hub up front.

I'd take one for a test ride. Although I reckon it probably won't last long in the model line up.

Speaking of the Spyder, I'm seeing a lot more on the road these days. What's the attraction Soapy and why a Spyder instead of a trike?

the price would be a factor, $40k (ish) for the RT Limited verses $56K for the trike
a proper gear box, the reverse gear is a gear, not a starter motor. manual or semi auto
Storage space, the Spyder has more, you don't lose warranty because you have a trailer hitch
    way better stability
they are also a great option for the aged and restricted,

I just bought a new Harley so I am not advertising they are for everyone, until the price hike, we were selling both bikes and getting a trike, then we would tour on one bike together, Wendy has a trike only license.
