About to hit hit 100,000km on the 09 Sporty and was wondering if there is any special needs of the service
For the past 50,000km all I have done is change oil and install new filter, clean the air filter and adjust belts/chains/clutch when needed every 5,000km

    Hi T.
It shouldn't matter that the bike has done a 100,000kms. The services cycle looks like it repeats every 32,000km
Although, I've been doing a service of some sort (minor / full) every 5K with my 2003 Deuce, I follow the 8K service book for the 2018 ultra.
By the looks of things, you would be at the major service.
I found this schedule for you

Not sure if you have done lifters yet.....told they are only good for 60k then replace as a insurance against a potential disaster

60k for lifters....Damn.  The most I have opened up on the engine is removing the oil filter!  I may have to look at some deeper work then.

Its only a precaution . Some people change out lifters on first service and put quality ones in on the twin cams

Cheers, I have no idea of the early history up to about 20K so will have to assume bog standard servicing.  I'll look at new lifters as I have done heaps of them on my older Evo and its not rocket science (good chance to install adjustable pushrods as well to ease the pain, as I hate taking the rocker covers off)
I'll have to rethink the quick shifter now as well...crap

Cheers for that.  It’s a good pointer for what to check out.
