My bike is throwing an error code , PO 118, engine temp sensor high voltage/open.
I've replaced the sensor unit itself and cleared the error code.
Start the bike and it's back.... Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Neale its the temp sensor on the left side of the bike at the rear of the front head. It has a rubber cover that makes it hard to get to the wire going in sometimes comes loose. Did mine twice then had to replace the sensor, about $30 i think, never had an issue since. Easy fix and common

Put a new sensor in, still throwing Po 118.
I'll have to tear it apart again this weekend and have a closer look at the wiring and connections.
If that leads to nowhere I haven't a clue what to look for.

Make sure the sensor is well screwed in, and the connector is a mongrel to snap into place
