Steelo, yes three pieces, not real happy with the look of the wind deflector on the bottom, I must get around to making a new one sometime. Spent a lot of time working out what size gap between the inner and outer screen worked best so I could have the lowest possible screen but still not get any buffeting. Deflector was a bit of an afterthought to be honest. Had tried putting a lip on the top of the screen but this did not really help.
Should have tried a different helmet, everyone one I know who use those screens are more than happy.
Mickle, I have three different helmets, both open and full face, was the same with all of them. Even went for a ride with no helmet to be sure, still the same. I have heated seat and am quite tall in the body so sit quite a bit higher than most. Wish it could have been that easy. I have quite a few bikes both faired and non faired and none of them are anything like this for buffeting.
