'08 FLSTF Forward Controls

    I've put a set of genuine HD forward control mounts on my Fatboy, but I now want to extend them further forward for more leg room.
    I have tried getting more legroom by putting a Danny Gray Butt Crack solo seat on it, but it doesn't seem to give me any more legroom, it just sits me lower in the bike.
    Does anyone know if the Arlen-Ness 3" extension kits will only fit with the original floorboards, not the HD forward controls?

    I hope this makes sense, as I just want more leg room.
