how to remove the hose cover from a Night Rod

    just wondering how to remove the hose cover item 18, so i can remove the hose item 12 from a Night Rod

    looks the cover has a built in hose clamp...may be.

    looking at the drawing, it looks like the 3 off items (# 15 ) are permanent clamps of some sort, and can't be removed.

    Is there no mention of this in the relevant workshop manual?.

    Take the upper hose clamp off and it will pull out.
    Loosen the bottom hose clamp and then undo the waterpump cover bolts and remove.
    You can take the hose off.

    What the hell is a vrod?  and simply undo the clamp to remove the cover, or if its a spring then slide it away.
