Unfortunately seller is one of those yanks who won't sell out of main land USA. As soon as I told him I wanted to ship to Australia he didn't even reply further.
Funny how they're happy to walk into a usps store to post to a buyer and even pay the postage but not not send wider via the same usps process when Ozzie buyer pays postage

You could always buy via the Aust post redirect address in Florida (shopmate). I would've considered that but picked up a local pair

Probably not ideal to leave the water passages unused.
Likely to cause some hot spots around the exhaust valve seats, but who knows, maybe it would be fine ?
4 valve pic, but you get the idea.

Yeah fair point, I've not seen a wet head in person, sheltered life an all that.

Bob the ceramic might keep the heat under control, I have no clue on that side of it and you obviously do.
There is a discussion about running wet heads dry on HTT, one bloke posted this......
Wife did the 4 corner tour on a 15 low last year, lost the water pump half way thru, told them to ride it & finish the challenge. Bike ran fine for the next 6000 miles.

Just pulled the bike down for a 110 kit 20000 miles later, needs 2 exaust valves & springs. (There Bent & springs are blue).
    I wouldnt do it!
