Quoting mickle on 24 Mar 2019 12:37 AM

Soak overnight with CT18 then hit it with the pressure washer and chamois, comes up like new and never fucked anything on the
CVO and it has a lot of things that can be fucked up.

Just be careful using CT18, it will get into areas that may not rinse out properly.
Look at this that CT18 did, it is under my rego plate bracket. The paint job was just on 1 year old.

Since the OP I’ve gone the no contact washing approach. Set myself up with a small Bosch pressure washer, it comes with a karcher adaptor. I more use this for the detergent application in the snow cannon, I let the foam do the work. The lance nozzle is adjustable for pattern and pressure, also keep the tip a fair distance from the bike so rinsing is a breeze,

I settled on the Meguiars snow foam cannon kit. It’s on special at SCA at the moment. Their gold class detergent is claimed as a complete wash, where other brands are a “pre wash” foam detergent.

Then to dry the bike I’m using my Bosch 18V blower. However a dryer with a bit of heat would probably be the ticket. It goes without saying that care needs to taken around wheel bearings with the pressure washer and blower.
I’m away on holidays at the moment, but when back home I’m planning to go down @tussucks road and use C Quartz to ceramic coat the tins after some minor paint correction. Once this is done the no contact washing should keep it to occasional maintenance with re applying a sacrificial wax/protection coat every few months.
On the chrome and brushed nacelle I use HD cleaner and polish with minimal effort.
The day after using this wash and polish regime I rolled up to go on a HOG ride. I had several guys tipping onto the OCD side of bike cleaning come up to me asking what I was using! So that was proof in the pudding for me.
