    hey guys,
Currently riding a Street 500 counting down the minutes till the P plates is over. 2 months.

Have paid a deposit on new breakout 114 based on test ride.
Love the look of them. Would love any feedback on what it rides like compared to a street 500 if anyone has done the same?

Also have a bunch of mods. The main one im struggling with is the exhaust

Really like the VH Big radius mostly for looks but several dealers have advised against them due to police targeting and getting EPA in the mail. Based on northern beaches Sydney.
Looking at Rinehart Slip ons. Sound good and look stock. Thoughts on this?

    Thanks guys

Look forward to a ride with other members in the near future.

Rineharts are OK provided you leave the header stock (cats in). They're darn loud with big-bore headers. For some reason the 45s are quieter than the 40s. They're a nice product ESP.

Oh, and... You're going from a 500cc bike to a 1750cc bike. There is no comparison.

Keep your ear to the ground bud as there are some great deals at the moment and some 2019 demos getting around with over $3000 off, it’s a lot of coin in your pocket. Don’t be scared to walk away from a deal and see if your phone rings the next day. THEY need YOUR business.
Just reread your post I didn’t realise you had put down deposit, give them hell to put on the accessories free you will / may get away with a lot at moment. Street to a breakout hell your going to love it.

I was thinking of the 107. Us poor ripped-off tourer riders cant buy a 114 off the floor.
Way to go MoCo dickheads, alienate the customers of your best selling bikes...

Yep, I see that, they woke up to themselves for 2019 (just a little).
What a gouge though...all heavy tourers should get it.

Just went and looked at the 2019 line-up, No Chrome Street Glide or Road Glide. Is that right?

No, but I like the black
but that would be the best thing for the acc market, why give you the chrome bits when they can sell them to you

I really wanted the orange or red but could not see the $3300 cost, why it's just paint???

Going from literally the smallest Harley available to the biggest (engine wise). Going to be worlds apart mate. Stance is different, power, weight etc.
I don't know what it's like in Sydney but I think police attention comes down to where and how you ride for the most part.

Need to get some of those Sydney cops to spend a day on Chapel St booking every Vrod that rides along in first gear on the rev limiter.

I went from a GN250 to my FXR with no issues at all.  Its a Harley and even the big ones pretty well are gutless wonders in stock form.

So to the OP.... You will love the bigger bike, way more expensive thogh as you will be bitten by the aftermarket bug like the rest of us.

I went from a Yamaha xt250 trail bike to a Kawasaki zx9r as a 19 year old.  It was no problem.  I’m a mostly sensible rider.  I’ve never understood why there is such a commotion of going straight to a big bike.
    Enjoy your Breakout 114

I had NO issues on the big bike until alcohol was involved and then .... well, I still have the scars today.  A big bike actually keeps you cautious as you know its big and will bite you if you push your luck too soon and fast.

    Hi ESP114
How about giving us an update on how you like your new ride.
The two bikes are so totally different your experience should be interesting and valuable to share.
