Well it's official (unless it is an April fools prank), Richardsons are shutting shop in Hobart on the 13th April.
A capital city with no HD dealer.

That’s one way to improve sales until the grand RE-opening on April 14.

Selling some types of bikes is tough.
In the mean time you get 30% off parts and there afer a bloody good excuse for a 5 hour return ride.

    That's no good to read.
I went to the Hobart Shop ages ago, I liked it. I think it was only opened a short time when I went there. they told me about the other store up north but I never got to see that one.

Here is a link from their website regarding the closure. Not enough sales to keep them going so they are only going to have the one store in Launceston.

    Bloody sad.
    I believe it’s a commercial decision, bummer.

Yeah, but they are still operating in Launceston. That is where they have the main shop.

I've often wondered, if Hobart or Laucheston has highest population?I know Hobart is Capital, but I never spent much time in Launcheston, have seen more of Hobart & south of there.

Always a bummer when an old dealership closes, bit of history into the night, felt a bit that way when Snell's shut up shop here.

Yeah, the 'adventure bike' market will be huge. The bikes coming out now are really well built with all the electronics & very comfortable for touring also.

Well the Richardsons shop in Hobart certainly did not have one of those on the showroom floor. Maybe that was their mistake.
