Re that Blue one above, it's a nice looking bike for sure, but if you want original you can do a lot better than this one, for a start the price is really high for what it is, $13.5k would translate to approx $23k aud in your shed if your lucky, for that money you can do a lot better, this ones been fucked with, not original paint, no tank decals, rocker, primary and nose cone should not be chrome, it shouldn't have a kicker, last kicker on an flh was '67, non original seat, non original mufflers, wrong carb and air cleaner, no decals on the panniers, and I'm sure there's lots more,

I'm always looking for original Shovel era bikes and I find that there are cheaper ones to be found in Australia rather than importing for America, the day of the cheap imported Harley are well gone, but in Australia they are harder to find,

    good luck

Brad's Vintage Bike Sales has them regularly, for reasonable prices:

I am unsure on the quality but from what I can see in the pics and vids he puts up, they don't look too bad.

Brad's Vintage Bikes sure gets some interesting stuff in, you have to be picky though , occasionally he has a good one for sale, but generally they have too much chrome, chrome where there shouldn't be chrome, and they always have shiny new paint which often doesn't match the original colours, he must move them on , because he's always bringing new ones up for sale,

although i like the early 72 on   i will consider early 80s looking for disc brake front end

Here you go, lovely low mileage '80flh in Saddle Brown, this is as good as it gets, if I had the cabbage I'd be on it,
All up it would probably owe you $15k ish in your shed, fuck I wish I was financial, I wouldn't be advertising it,

1980 was the last year when the 74 engine was available, they are rare, one way to pick them is they had wire wheels, whereas the 80 had cast,
